Bio.

John Buffalo is taller than most people realize- 6 foot, 3 inches. He has a black bicycle which he loves, despite the fact that one ride left him in the hospital for 3 days. He’s been in the hospital a lot. He writes hundreds of songs, sometimes about the hospital visits, sometimes about other things. He has performed at Carnegie Hall AND CBGB’s, written songs for television and movies, played on late night talk shows, festivals, all sorts of trouble.

Kids in grade school called him “John Buffalo” because his real name (Dufilho) was confusing and less funny. John is at times confusing and less funny as well.

The Apples in Stereo, The Deathray Davies, CLIFFFS, Corner Suns, Motorcade, and I love math are a few of John’s bands. He loves them all equally, although he seems to talk about CLIFFFFS the most.

On November 10th of 2023 John released his first solo album- JOHN BUFFALO, pressed up on vinyl by the kind and generous folks at State Fair Records. It is mostly about his longest hospital stay and how he was surprised and thrilled they eventually let him leave.
